A leading educational institution is seeking a motivated Teaching Assistant to support students in the Reset Room at Caerleon Comprehensive School. This role focuses on maintaining a calm environment, providing essential support for learners, and assisting staff with administrative tasks. Salary: Grade 3, SCP 5 - 6, £24,790 - £25,183 pro rata

The Governing Body of Caerleon Comprehensive School, a popular high-achieving school with a student role of 1500, are seeking to appoint a motivated, organised, and hard-working individual to the post of Teaching Assistant to work in our RESET room.
Our Reset Room is a key element of our behaviour management strategy at Caerleon Comprehensive School. We have a conduct code, and as part of this code, learners may be referred to the Reset Room as a sanction for breaking the code. Students may be referred by a classroom teacher, for disrupting learning in lessons, or by a head of year or leadership team member for incidents outside lessons. The Reset Room aims to be a quiet place of reflection where students can consider their behaviour, complete their work, and think about how to behave differently next time. We are looking for a teaching assistant who enjoys working with students facing various challenges or having a bad day.
