Job summary

Ashburton Primary School is seeking a Teaching Assistant (KS1/EYFS) to support learning across Key Stage 1 and Early Years. The role is terms of 26.25 hours per week over 38 weeks per year, fixed term until 31 August 2027, and aligns with the Westcountry Schools Trust values.

The successful candidate will work with individual or small groups, support safeguarding policies, and contribute to an engaging learning environment to help children reach their potential.

You will need to be enthusiastic, have a knowledge of how children learn and be committed to a collaborative approach working with colleagues to deliver the highest quality support and best possible outcomes for each child. You should have a clear understanding of safeguarding and be passionate about working with children. You will be working with individual or small groups of KS1 children.
