An established educational institution is seeking a dedicated KS2 Teaching Assistant to join their team. This role involves providing essential support to children with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and assisting other students across the year group. The position is fixed-term, running from February 24, 2025, until August 31, 2025, with a working pattern from Monday to Friday. Ideal candidates will have experience working with children with Special Educational Needs, making a significant impact in a nurturing environment. We are looking for a qualified KS2 Teaching Assistant to work alongside existing staff to provide support for children with EHCPs as well as working with other children from across the year group, starting on 24th February 2025, or as soon as possible after this date. This is a fixed term contract until 31st August 2025 in the first instance. Experience with working with children with a range of Special Educational Needs and diagnoses would be an advantage.
Working pattern: Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. - 3:15 p.m. to include lunch duty each day, with a half an hour unpaid lunch either before or after the children's lunchtime.
27 hrs 5 mins TA, Pay Grade 5-11 to 5-14
4 hrs 10 mins Lunch Duty, Pay Grade 2-2 to 2-3
