Job summary

Join Oasis Community Learning in Southampton as a Teaching Assistant within our internal supply pool. This flexible, part-time role offers regular opportunities within one or more Oasis Academies, helping students succeed and build strong relationships with staff and pupils.

You will work with teachers to deliver inclusive learning experiences, support students with additional needs, and contribute to a positive classroom environment across our Southampton sites.

Qualifications

  • GCSE Maths and English (Level 2 minimum).
  • Experience supporting students in classrooms or similar settings is beneficial.
  • Strong communication and patient approach with learners.

Responsibilities

  • Support students in the classroom, individually and in small groups.
  • Assist teachers to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons.
  • Provide targeted support for students with additional needs.
  • Help maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Adapt to different classrooms and age groups, promoting positive behaviour.
