Those Huge Small Victories

Our Teaching Assistants are fulfilled by making even the smallest positive changes in our young people. We celebrate these small wins, which we call "huge small victories." While they may seem minor, they collectively make a significant difference.

Get out what you put in

You will work with children and young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Your role is to support their learning, development, and self-esteem. Resilience and dedication are essential, and the small victories you achieve will be a source of pride.

It can be a challenging journey, but the positive progress will be rewarding. As a Teaching Assistant at Witherslack Group, you'll receive support from colleagues, well-resourced environments, and guidance to help you build a rewarding career in education.

One of the best environments in SEND

Bescot Hall is a purpose-built, state-of-the-art school primarily catering to children with SEMH needs and moderate speech and learning needs associated with autism. It provides education for up to 72 children aged 8 to 16.

This exciting opportunity serves Walsall and surrounding communities, with a focus on delivering outstanding educational experiences tailored to individual pupils' progress and care.

What we do for you

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package. You will have opportunities to bring learning to life and make a real difference. Benefits include:

  • Training: Full induction and on-the-job training
  • Holiday: Full school holidays off
  • Progression: Many leaders within our group have been promoted from within
  • Flexible benefits: Options to adjust benefits like life insurance
  • Wellbeing: Support tools and employee assistance programs
  • Medical cover: Reimbursements for opticians, dentists, etc.
  • Facilities: Modern, well-equipped workplaces
  • Referral bonus: £1,000 per successful referral
  • Pension: Contributory pension scheme (matched up to 5%)
