Teaching Assistant

Wallsend

£13.68 per hour (£90-£130 per day)

Immediate and September Start

The School and Role

Vision for Education are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our supportive school team. You will work closely with teachers to support students' learning, provide one-to-one or small group assistance, and help create a positive, inclusive classroom environment. The ideal candidate will be patient, reliable, and passionate about helping children reach their full potential. Experience working with children is preferred but not essential. This is a rewarding role for someone who wants to make a real difference in SEND education.

The desired Teaching Assistant will have:

  • Experience of working with secondary and primary school aged children in schools.
  • Experience of working with pupils with SEND.
  • A passion for the progress of SEND primary and secondary school pupils.
  • An ability to work as part of a team.
  • An ability to build rapport quickly with students
  • Key qualities such as: Patience, Sympathetic, Strong-willed
