Teaching Assistants WANTED!

Tradewind are working with a range of schools across Cornwall who are looking for Teaching Assistants to join their teams. Some need support in the classroom, others are looking for people to work one-to-one with pupils who need a bit of extra help.

You don't need to be a qualified teacher. If you've got experience working with children or young people whether it has been in schools, care, youth work, sports coaching or similar - we'd like to hear from you. The most important thing is that you're patient, reliable, and up for making a difference in a child's day.

What does the role involve?

• Supporting pupils in lessons or in small groups

• Helping students stay engaged and confident

• Working with teachers and support staff to meet individual needs

• Being a consistent, calm presence for young people who might need it most

We're looking for people who:

• Enjoy working with children and young people

• Can stay calm under pressure and think on their feet

• Are happy to get stuck in and be part of a team

• Have experience in education or a transferable setting (but we're open-minded)
