Job description

Vision for Education are looking to appoint enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants within the Milford Haven area to support pupils throughout the primary age range. The role is varied and will involve supporting children in small groups and on a 1:1 basis starting immediately on a part and full time basis. You will be required to support pupils with classroom based activities and outdoor play. Whilst the majority of the work will be within the Foundation Phase, you may be required to assist with Key Stage 2 classes at short notice for emergency cover. The ability to speak Welsh would be a great advantage although not essential.

Requirements:

The desired Teaching Assistant will have:

  • Recent experience supporting primary aged children
  • A patient and caring nature
  • The ability to engage students
  • The ability to work closely with the class teacher and other staff members within the class.
  • The ability to get to schools within the Cardigan area.
