Pay Rate: £95.21 per day
Location: Birmingham
Hours: 8.30am - 3.30pm
Smart Education is currently recruiting for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work in a nurturing and supportive secondary setting in the Moseley area of Birmingham.
This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people who need it most.
The setting supports pupils aged [age range], all of whom have an EHCP in place. The school has a Good Ofsted rating and is known for creating a warm, structured environment where young people can thrive. The focus is on helping pupils develop effective strategies to manage their behaviour, emotions, and responses, and on building strong, trusting relationships.
Here, firm boundaries and consistent support go together with creativity, empathy, and high expectations. You will play a key role in supporting a young person on a 1:1 basis, helping them navigate the school day, access learning, and build confidence and essential life skills.
