Job description

Job Title: Level 2 Teaching Assistant
Pay Rate: £90 per day
Location: Birmingham
Hours: 8.30am 3.30pm

Smart Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs at a well-established special school in Birmingham. This opportunity includes both full-time and day-to-day roles.

The school provides education to pupils aged 2 to 19, all of whom have Education and Health Care Plans (EHCPs) and present with a range of complex and multiple learning needs. These include Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC), and additional needs such as visual and hearing impairments.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a passionate team committed to delivering high-quality, personalised learning through a curriculum rooted in effective communication strategies.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:
