Full-Time Primary Teaching Assistants - September 2025 Start
Tradewind Education Camden, Hackney & Islington Primary Schools

Are you a dedicated Teaching Assistant looking for a full-time position in a primary school this September? Tradewind Education is recruiting passionate and proactive support staff to join our partner primary schools across Camden, Hackney, and Islington for the 2025/26 academic year.

We are seeking individuals who are committed to supporting children's learning, development, and well-being in EYFS, KS1 or KS2 classrooms.

Role Details:

  • Position: Primary Teaching Assistant

  • Start Date: September 2025

  • Contract Type: Full-Time, Term-Time Only

  • Locations: Camden, Hackney, and Islington

  • Pay: Competitive weekly rates based on experience and role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting pupils in class, in small groups or 1:1

  • Assisting with behaviour management and lesson activities

  • Supporting pupils with SEND, EAL or SEMH needs

  • Helping to create a safe and inclusive learning environment

  • Working collaboratively with the class teacher and wider staff team

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a UK primary school (classroom or nursery setting)

  • Strong communication skills and a positive, flexible approach

  • A valid enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

  • Full-time availability (Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm)
