Nursery Teaching Assistant - Level 3 Qualified
Location: Willesden, NW10
Pay: 90- 110 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Long-term to permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Commutable From: Harlesden, Cricklewood, Neasden, Kilburn, Queen's Park

The Opportunity

Long Term Futures are working with a vibrant and inclusive school in Willesden to appoint a confident Nursery Teaching Assistant. This full-time role is ideal for someone who understands the importance of early years development and thrives in a play-based, child-led learning environment.

You'll work closely with the Nursery Teacher and EYFS team, offering targeted support to individuals and small groups. The role will involve leading phonics, supporting language development, and helping children settle into routines with confidence and care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging small group instruction across the EYFS framework
  • Use positive behaviour management to maintain a safe, supportive environment
  • Support one-on-one tutoring when needed, helping children meet early learning goals
  • Assist with lesson planning and classroom organisation
  • Monitor and record pupil progress and milestones in line with EYFS standards

What We're Looking For

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent in Early Years)
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development
  • Experience in nursery or reception settings, ideally in a school-based environment
  • Confident managing routines and transitions for young learners
  • Comfortable using visual aids and play-based learning to boost engagement
