Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a strong background in supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Are you looking for a new and rewarding role this September within a friendly and inclusive primary school?

We are currently working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Harold Hill that is seeking a dedicated and flexible Teaching Assistant to join their team for the new academic year. This is a full-time, long-term position with the potential for ongoing work.

About the Role:

  • Supporting pupils with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD and speech and language needs

  • Working flexibly across the primary phase (EYFS to KS2), depending on school needs

  • Assisting the class teacher in delivering tailored support to individuals and small groups

  • Promoting inclusion and ensuring all children can access learning opportunities

  • Supporting pupils emotional and social development as well as their academic progress

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Proven experience supporting children with SEN in a primary school setting

  • A calm, patient and nurturing approach

  • Flexibility to work across different year groups and adapt to varying needs

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team

  • A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one)
