TeacherActive are currently looking for a confident, reliable and experienced KS2 TA / Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Carlton. This is a fantastic opportunity to support teaching and learning across Key Stage 2, while also gaining valuable classroom leadership experience by covering lessons in the teacher's absence.

QUALIFICATIONS

• TA qualification or relevant Level 2 (or Level 3 with strong cover experience)
• A minimum of 6 months experience working in UK schools
• Confidence in covering whole class teaching when required

• A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding procedures
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Experience working with children on both a 1:1 and small group basis
