Learning Support Assistants - ASC, Croydon

SEND School
Based in Croydon
Full-Time
90-100 a day Depending on experience

Empowering Learning is currently recruiting for 8x Learning Support Assistants to work within SEND schools in Croydon and the surrounding areas, supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and complex needs. We are looking for dynamic and adaptable Learning Support Assistants who can support pupils daily in the classroom. Some of the pupils you will be supporting have a variety of SEND needs. While experience supporting different needs would be desirable, it is not essential. You will play a vital role in helping pupils with communication, learning, and independence in a safe and inclusive environment to aid their development.

• Supporting pupils with ASC
• Supervising pupils' behavior
• Encouraging and supporting pupils' learning and development
• Supporting social interaction
• Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and planning activities
• Providing personal care

Job Requirements

• Able to commit to 6-12 months
