Prospero Teaching is looking for dedicated Teaching Assistants to support children with additional learning needs across settings in Cardiff. This is a supply position, so will be based in a variety of schools across Cardiff local authority. You will be primarily supporting children in mainstream classes with additional learning needs.

Experience, Training, and Qualifications

• Experience working with children in any capacity, including voluntary positions.
• Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC). Assistance can be provided for registration.
• Up-to-date Safeguarding training; free courses available through Prospero Teaching if needed.
• Strong behaviour management skills.

Eligibility Requirements

• Right to Work in the UK.
• Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or willingness to process a new application.
• Two professional child-related references.
