Job summary

Simply Education Ltd. is recruiting a dedicated Teaching Assistant for an Ofsted-rated Outstanding primary school in Chelmsford. You will support pupils learning, wellbeing and development in a warm, inclusive classroom.

You will work closely with class teachers to reinforce learning, adapt activities to individual needs and promote positive behaviour. The role offers opportunities for professional development and involvement in school visits and enrichment activities.

Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher with planning and delivery of lessons.
• Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning.
• Provide support in reading, writing, phonics and maths; adapt resources as needed.
• Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
• Assist with classroom organisation and preparation for activities.
• Support pupils during breaks and school activities as required.
• Contribute to observations, assessments and recording pupil progress.
