Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will support the learning and development of students, working closely with teachers and other staff to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging and differentiated lessons.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students.
  • Help develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs).
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to meet the needs of each student.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience working with children, preferably in a PRU or SEN setting.
  • Strong understanding of behavioural, emotional, and social difficulties.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
