SEN Teaching Assistant –

Location:
Salary: £85 – £100 per day (dependent on experience)
Job Type: Full-time, Monday–Friday (Term time only)
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm (may vary by up to 45 minutes)

Role Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in kettering. You will work closely with children who have special educational needs, supporting them both in and out of the classroom.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 or group support to pupils with SEN
  • Support learning during lessons and break/lunchtimes
  • Assist the class teacher with daily activities
  • Help maintain a safe and tidy classroom environment
  • Create a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all students

Who We're Looking For

Experience in a school setting is not required – we welcome applicants from all backgrounds who are passionate about working with children.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have previous experience working with SEN children (desirable, not essential)
  • Be committed, patient, and reliable
  • Show initiative and a proactive attitude – must
  • Have or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service)
