Q – Are you a Humanities Graduate with a passion for learning?

Q – Do you have your sights set on a career within education, perhaps training to become a Humanities Teacher?

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented, engaging, and hard-working Humanities Graduate to work as a dedicated Teaching Assistant within a leading Secondary School in North London.

Your role will focus on Humanities and involve working as a Teaching Assistant with pupils across KS3 and KS4.

We are looking for a Humanities Teaching Assistant who is:

  • A bright Humanities Graduate - outgoing and confident team player!
  • Previous tutor experience is an advantage!
  • Experience working directly with young people in an education or training environment, supporting students' learning.
  • Experience establishing and maintaining positive relationships with a range of stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to manage and be responsible for your own workload.
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills.

OPPORTUNITY:

  • Delivering targeted interventions - 1:1 & small groups
  • Secondary School based in Barnet
  • Opportunity to work across Secondary age groups – KS3-5 (Ages 11-18)
  • Start date: September 2024
  • Long-term role until July 2025
  • Full Time – Term Time Only
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
  • Excellent ongoing school-based training throughout the year
  • Opportunity to work alongside fantastic teachers, support staff, and SEN specialists
