Hill Park School in Portslade is hiring 6 part-time Teaching Assistants (Grade B) to join the Primary team. You will work 30 hours per week during term-time, on a fixed-term basis to 31 August 2027, with 47.36 paid weeks per year. Salary ranges from £28,153 to £28,608 pro rata, plus a Special Schools Allowance.

We seek patient, resilient team players who can support individuals and groups and have Maths and English GCSEs. DBS enhanced disclosure required.

Job description

Hill Park School is a three site (Primary/ Secondary) special school for pupils aged 4 - 16 years for pupils with needs ranging from moderate (MLD), severe (SLD), profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD). Some pupils also have a diagnosis of autistic spectrum condition (ASC), complex medical needs or physical disabilities. We have students from Reception through to KS4.

We are looking to recruit Grade B Teaching Assistants to join our Primary team at our Portslade site.

Positions: 6

Part time: 30 hours per week, term-time only.

Fixed term: Until 31 August 2027

Paid weeks per year:47.36 (inclusive of holiday entitlement)
