Salary: £25,584 - £27,269 per annum

The Governing Body of Plymouth Grove Primary School wish to appoint an enthusiastic, dedicated and passionate teaching assistant to join our team of caring, committed professionals.

We are looking for an enthusiastic teaching assistant to join our dynamic, supportive and friendly team who work tirelessly to meet the needs of children, especially those children with additional needs.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Creates a nurturing and purposeful environment for our pupils
  • Can enthuse, motivate and engage children in all areas of learning
  • Forms strong working relationships with colleagues, and works effectively as part of a team
  • Promotes the highest possible standards of learning and achievement for all children
  • Shows initiative and has a willingness to learn
  • Has a good knowledge of safeguarding responsibilities
  • Has an ability to work in partnership with pupils, parents, staff and governors

You will need:
  • Numeracy / literacy skills at a level equivalent to NQF Level 2
  • Employed experience as a TA Level 3

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Be very well organised and contribute to a highly effective team
  • To have responsibility for the care, guidance and support of children with Special Educational Needs
  • Be reliable and enthusiastic
  • Experience in working within Early Years, KS1 or KS2
