32.5 Hours, Term-time only Teaching Assistant (Grade 3) Required for Autumn term start, Fixed-term Contract from 01.09.2025 until 31.08.2026.

The children, staff and governors of St Modwen’s Catholic Primary School would like to appoint an enthusiastic and highly skilled Teaching Assistant who is able to work under the direction of the Early Years/KS1-KS2 Phase Leaders and team, to guide and support children in their learning journey.

We are looking for an experienced practitioner who can work flexibly across the school.

Your role will involve:
• PPA cover
• one-to-one support with children on our SEND register, and
• supporting our children across school delivering one-to-one, small group interventions or supporting the class teacher delivering high quality learning
• sickness absence cover and emergency cover

Please note, our Grade 3 Teaching Assistant vacancy requires a minimum qualification of NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent and the equivalent of GCSE Maths and English.

  • be prepared to engage actively and fully with the wider life of school and the development of others
  • have relevant experience in supporting learning for pupils
  • be qualified with GCSE English and Maths A-C Grades
