Job summary

St Peter and St Paul RC Junior and Infant School in Birmingham is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our EYFS Reception Class on a permanent, full-time basis. The role supports learning with a Catholic ethos and a commitment to safeguarding.

The post offers a salary of £27,796 to £33,699 per year (FTE), 32.5 hours per week, and begins in November 2026. Closing date is 25 September 2026; interview dates TBC.

About this Role

The St John Paul II Multi Academy is a highly successful Catholic Multi Academy encompassing eleven Primary Schools and two Secondary Schools. Our schools are located in the northern area of Birmingham, Tamworth and Lichfield.

The Governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant on a permanent basis, working in our EYFS Reception Class to support our inclusive teaching and learning approach to educate children with a variety of abilities when they join our school in EYFS.
