Horizon Primary Academy in Swanley, part of Kemnal Academies Trust, seeks a dedicated Teaching Assistant to energise and empower pupils on Fridays 8:30am–3:30pm. You’ll support learning, foster confidence and resilience, and contribute to a caring school community.
The role involves one-to-one or small-group literacy, numeracy or wellbeing interventions, collaborating with teachers to ensure high standards of learning and behavior, with a focus on inclusion and pupil growth.
We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant who brings energy, heart, and purpose to our team at Kemnal, someone ready to inspire and empower our pupils every single day.
In our Trust, a Teaching Assistant is far more than classroom support; you are a key architect in building a child’s confidence, independence, and agency. We are seeking an empathetic, proactive team player who can help break down barriers to learning, run targeted interventions, and create an environment where every child feels supported to take on new challenges.
Whether you have years of experience supporting learning, a background in childcare or SEND, or are looking to take your first steps toward a career in education, your talent will be valued here. In our community, support staff are vital partners in driving educational standards and fostering a strong sense of belonging.
