Join a dedicated and passionate team as a Teaching Assistant – Foundation Stage 1 & Year 1.

Are you passionate about supporting young learners and making a difference in their educational journey? We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant on a supply basis to join a fabulous team at a primary school in Wallasey. This role involves working with Foundation Stage 1 and Year 1 pupils on a full-time basis until the end of the summer term.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging educational activities
  • Support the class teacher in creating a positive learning environment
  • Provide one-to-one support to students as needed
  • Help with classroom management and daily routines
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children
  • Ability to engage and motivate students in their learning
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Teaching or classroom assistants are now vital resources for teachers and are heavily relied upon in schools.

Qualifications we consider:
  • NVQ Level 2 Teaching Assistant
  • NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant
  • Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
  • CACHE Level 3 in Childcare & Education
  • BTEC National Certificate in Childhood Studies (Nursery Nursing)

We’ll also consider experienced learning support assistants (LSAs) who have previously held a job in a primary school or assisted a pupil in the role in a secondary school but do not hold any of the above qualifications.
