Job summary

Fiveways School in Yeovil is seeking caring Teaching Assistants to support pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties. The role is full-time and permanent (part-time considered) with Grade 14 hourly pay of £13.05–£13.47 and a pro rata annual salary of about £18,915.

Term time only (40 weeks), 31.65 hours per week, Mon-Fri with CPD opportunities. Applicants must be willing to undergo safeguarding checks and DBS clearance, with references requested prior to interview.

Qualifications

• Education standard equating to GCSE in English and Mathematics is essential.
• A-C/Point 4 or equivalent is essential.
• NVQ2 is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties.
• Contribute to personalised learning experiences.
• Attend Continuing Professional Development (CPD) sessions on Tue or Thu.
• Adhere to safeguarding and DBS clearance requirements.
