Teaching Assistant for SEND School in DN6

Yorkshire and Humber / Contract / £90 - 110 per day, dependent on experience

TeacherActive is seeking a full-time SEND Teaching Assistant to join a specialised day school in DN6. The school caters to pupils aged 3-19 years with severe learning difficulties, including Post-16 students at an offsite provision. The school's goal is to deliver personalised and inspiring learning experiences to help students reach their full potential, preparing them for the future with tailored educational approaches. The role is agency-based and depends on school needs.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant who can create a safe, purposeful, and stimulating environment. The candidate should foster mutual respect and support students effectively, working closely with staff to implement behaviour management and academic strategies.
