Job Description:

The role

We the Governors of Brook Acre are seeking a Teaching Assistant to join us on a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds relevant qualifications at the level applied for, or higher;
  • Promotes inclusion and acceptance of all pupils;
  • Establishes good working relationships with pupils and parents, acting as a positive role model;
  • Demonstrates a commitment to raising standards and believes every child can achieve and thrive;
  • Works effectively within a team environment;
  • Holds high expectations for attitudes and behaviour;
  • Has a passion for improving children's life chances and positively impacting pupil outcomes.

Experience or training in Speech, Language, and Communication is desirable but not essential.
