Job description

We are looking for a Female Teaching Assistant (TA) who aspires to excel within the education industry. You will support students in a classroom at one of the leading schools in London. This rewarding role involves working with a young Year 8 girl who experiences Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) challenges due to past personal events. We need a caring, nurturing female TA to support this pupil.

Role: Teaching Assistant

Start: ASAP

Location: Barking

Contract: Full time

Rate: £95-115 per day

Ideal Candidate:

  • Supervising and supporting pupils
  • Assisting in developing resources, schemes of work, and teaching strategies
  • Supporting behaviour management
  • Undertaking structured learning activities and adjusting them to meet learning goals
  • Supervising children during break times and lunchtimes
  • Building positive relationships with children and acting as a role model
  • Promoting inclusion, supporting diversity, and ensuring equal access to learning opportunities

Requirements:
