Start Date: September 2024
Contract: Full-Time for the entire academic year
Pay: £85-£100 per day, depending on experience (DOE)
About the Role:
We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our supportive primary school team in Doncaster, DN5. This full-time position begins in September 2024 and spans the entire academic year. You will play a key role in supporting teachers and helping students achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities:
* Assist the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
* Provide one-on-one and small group support to students.
* Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
* Support students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
* Prepare and organize classroom materials and resources.
* Supervise students during breaks and other non-classroom activities.
* Collaborate with teachers and staff to monitor and assess student progress.
* Uphold school policies and ensure a safe and inclusive atmosphere for all students.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational role.
* A relevant qualification in education or child development is preferred.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
* Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
