Teaching Assistant/cover Supervisor

A Mansfield School is looking for a couple of new members of staff, which would be a combination of Teaching Assistant and Cover Supervisor.

You will need to be passionate, enthusiastic, and most importantly adaptable!

If you are a Graduate and have experience working with or volunteering with children, this could be the PERFECT role for you.

What will you be doing?

1. Cover Supervisor: You will be expected to take full responsibility for managing classes in any given subject area (where possible, you will be matched with subject areas that you already have experience in). You will be expected to effectively manage behavior and ensure pupil safety. Candidates will also be expected to leave the classroom in order and to leave a lesson summary for the returning teacher.
2. Teaching Assistant: You will be required to work 1:2:1 and support pupils. There will also be some small group led by you to assist the needs of the individuals/groups. Emotional/behavioural support will be required alongside academic support.
