Job summary

Empowering Learning is seeking an experienced SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant for Coniston and surrounding Cumbria schools. The role involves supporting learners with SEN needs, assisting with classroom tasks, and contributing to an inclusive learning environment.

You will work closely with teachers to deliver engaging lessons, implement IEPs, and support social and emotional development. This role offers flexible day-to-day and longer-term assignments across trusted partner schools.

Qualifications

• Relevant Teaching Assistant and SEN experience.
• Experience in working within a Primary School setting.
• Thorough understanding of the curriculum and learning objectives.

Responsibilities

Due to a recent high demand in Teaching Assistant placements in Schools across the Cumbria area for 1:1 SEN support and general classroom support we are urgently recruiting SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistants, who have recent experience of working with pupils in UK Primary School settings.
