Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. are seeking a Teaching Assistant to join Bradford primary schools. The role pays £92-£110 per day and is suitable for enthusiastic, reliable candidates comfortable supporting students with special educational needs.

We are looking for individuals with a passion for welfare, education and development who can assist teachers in delivering small group and one-to-one sessions and help pupils progress. DBS checks and safeguarding are in place.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting.
• Basic first aid certification is an advantage, but not mandatory.
• Enthusiastic and reliable candidate comfortable with SEN students.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver small group tutoring or catch-up programmes
• Plan and deliver one-to-one tutoring or catch-up programmes
• Assist classroom teachers in their work, ensuring that SEN students participate in the lessons and make good progress
• Undertake break time and lunch time duties as directed
• Maintain good working relationships with colleagues, students and parents/carers to ensure a brilliant level of communication

This role requires a passion for welfare, education and development. Applicants with relevant experience such as a Teaching Assistant, SEN Sport Coach and Healthcare Assistant are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A minimum of a Level 2 Certificate in Early Years Education or Childcare is an advantage, but not mandatory.
• Previous experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting.
• Basic first aid certification is an advantage, but not mandatory.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
