Join Our Team as a Primary School Teaching Assistant

Are you passionate about supporting children's learning and development?

We're looking for a Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Bromley.

Position: Primary School Teaching Assistant
Location: Bromley (BR2)
Contract: Temp-Long-Term

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher with a mixed-ability class, providing tailored assistance to students.
  • Offer 1:1 and small group support for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Encourage a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students.
  • Track and support students’ progress, ensuring their individual needs are met.
  • Work closely with the teacher and other staff members to enhance learning experiences.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or Childcare qualification).
  • Experience working with children in a childcare or education setting (group and 1:1).
  • Experience supporting SEN students is highly desirable.
  • A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proactive, flexible, and patient approach to classroom support.
