As a Behaviour Mentor Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in fostering positive behaviour and creating a supportive atmosphere for students. You will work closely with teachers and other professionals to implement strategies, interventions, and support plans to address challenging behaviour and promote a positive learning environment. As a Behaviour Mentor Teaching Assistant you will provide targeted support to students to address challenging behaviour.
Implement and monitor individual behaviour support plans.
As a Behaviour Mentor Teaching Assistant you will collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external agencies to address specific needs.
Foster positive relationships with students to encourage their social and emotional development.
As a Behaviour Mentor Teaching Assistant you will contribute to the development and implementation of school-wide behaviour initiatives.
Provide feedback to teachers and parents on the progress of behaviour support plans.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience in a similar Teaching Assistant role is advantageous.
As a Behaviour Mentor Teaching Assistant you will have empathy and a genuine passion for promoting positive behavior in students.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
As a Behaviour Mentor Teaching Assistant you will have the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, students, and parents.
Knowledge of relevant behaviour management strategies and interventions.
