Are you a student or looking to work flexible days due to other commitments?

Are you a Teaching Assistant who would like to work flexible days with children with Social Emotional and Mental Health needs? We currently have a large number of schools across Enfield that are looking for confident and proactive Teaching Assistants with a good understanding of supporting children with SEMH or SEN, or a strong willingness to learn to support children with additional needs.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be working with pupils on either a 1 to 1 basis or within groups in a class setting during the school day. Pupils will range in age from 2 - 19 years old and will have identified SEMH and SEN such as Autism, ADHD, PDA, behaviors that challenge, and physical disabilities such as Down Syndrome. You will be working with pupils in the classroom, in specialist mentoring sessions, and during some break times. Some pupils will display more challenging behavior, and the school will be able to train you in suitable interventions and approaches. As part of the child's support team, you will work closely with the school's SENCO and senior management team, as well as outside agencies including therapists, healthcare professionals, and CAMHS.

We are particularly looking for people who:

  • Have a flexible approach
  • Are available for daily temp work
  • Are passionate about supporting children with SEND

If you are looking for flexible temp work alongside studies or other commitments, please get in touch.
