Are you passionate about making a real difference in a child's life?

We're looking for a dedicated and patient 1:1 Autism Support Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school team and work closely with a pupil who has Autism, helping them thrive both academically and socially.



What you'll do:

  1. Provide one-to-one support for a child with Autism, adapting strategies to meet their individual needs.

  2. Assist with learning activities, emotional regulation, and social interaction.

  3. Work alongside the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored support.

  4. Help create a calm, structured, and positive learning environment.

  5. Monitor progress and contribute to EHCP reviews and support plans.


What we're looking for:

  1. Experience working with children with Autism and/or SEND.

  2. A calm, nurturing, and empathetic approach.

  3. Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  4. Resilience, patience, and a genuine passion for inclusive education.

  5. CACHE Level 2/3, or equivalent related to education or SEND.
