Job summary

Oxted School is seeking a passionate learning support assistant to help deliver tailored educational support for pupils, including those with special needs.

You will support teachers, assist with personal care, and help promote independence within a vibrant school community that values inclusion and safeguarding. This is a full-time, term-time position, 36 hours per week across 39 weeks per year.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent) with basic literacy and numeracy skills.
• Ability to work towards Level 2 vocational qualifications or demonstrate specialist skills.
• Competence with IT tools, strong communication, and organisational skills.
• Physical ability to handle manual tasks and work collaboratively.

About this Role

We are looking for a passionate, dedicated, and motivated individual to join the team, where you'll support students' learning and personal development, including those with special needs. Use your creativity and organisational skills to deliver tailored support, foster independence, and make a real difference in a vibrant school community committed to excellence and inclusion.

Support teachers by delivering and adapting educational programs for pupils, including those with special needs. Provide specialised assistance, encourage independence, and attend to pupils' personal and physical care needs.

We are recruiting to a full-time, term time position, working 36 hours per week / 39 weeks per year.
