Teaching Assistant ASAP Start - Handsworth, Birmingham

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Agency Teaching Assistant to support students' learning and development across Year 3 and 4 in a lovely school located in Handsworth, Birmingham. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and a commitment to making a positive impact on students' lives.

Responsibilities:
  1. Assist teachers in delivering lessons and support students.
  2. Run targeted interventions for students needing additional help.
  3. Provide one-to-one support to students with special educational needs (SEN).
  4. Support the development of students' social, emotional, and academic skills.
  5. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Requirements:
  1. Level 2 or equivalent qualification in childcare, education, health, or social care.
  2. Previous experience as a teaching assistant or in a similar role.
  3. Ability to work flexibly across different year groups and subjects.
  4. Strong commitment to supporting all students, including those with SEN.
  5. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
