Job summary

Malet Lambert School is seeking Teaching Assistants to join our large team and support teaching, learning, and pupil wellbeing. Training towards the Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship Standard will be provided, with a focus on SEND pupils and those facing barriers to learning.

Working hours are 8:30am–3:15pm, Monday to Friday during term time, with pay of £17,840.45 per year and 12 monthly installments. The role involves classroom support and participation in intervention and wellbeing activities.

Qualifications

• Good literacy and numeracy skills.
• Experience supporting SEND pupils and delivering interventions.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning in the classroom.
• Assist with small group intervention programmes (e.g. Guided Reading, numeracy).
• Support pupils' emotional wellbeing and enrichment activities.
