Job summary

Salford City Academy in Manchester is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant Apprentice (Level 3) to support students across lessons and groups. You will work with teachers, pastoral staff and SEND team to remove barriers to education and help learners access the curriculum within an inclusive school community.

Responsibilities

• Support students in lessons, individually and in small groups.
• Assist with preparation of learning materials and classroom activities.
• Provide targeted support for students with SEND to meet individual needs.
• Promote positive behaviour and resilience in line with school policy.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to staff.
• Support students' social, emotional and personal development.
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive learning environment.
• Assist with educational visits and school events.
• Uphold safeguarding and child protection procedures at all times.
