Cropthorne with Charlton CE First School, part of Worcestershire County Council, is seeking a Teaching Assistant Apprentice to support a child on a 1:1 basis and run targeted group interventions. The role includes midday supervision duties and will be in reception, KS1 or KS2 classes.

The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to raise learning outcomes, foster independence and social inclusion, and gain a qualification while contributing to our family-oriented school

• Commitment to supporting the diverse needs of all learners.
• Experience of working with children (voluntary roles or work experience).
• Relevant qualifications in education or a related field (desirable).

Mansioni

• Work with class teachers to raise the learning and attainment of pupils.
• Promote pupils' independence, self-esteem, and social inclusion.
• Provide support to pupils 1:1, individually or in groups, to help them access the curriculum, participate in learning, and experience a sense of achievement.
• Support children in achieving their SEND targets set by the class teacher or SENCO, including 1:1 or group work.
• Support Forest school sessions.
• Assist with midday supervision duties, ensuring a safe and positive environment for our pupils during their lunch break.
