Cropthorne with Charlton CE First School is seeking a Teaching Assistant Apprentice to support a pupil on a 1:1 basis and deliver targeted group interventions across Reception to KS2. The role includes midday supervision duties and the opportunity to gain a recognised qualification.

You will work closely with class teachers to raise attainment, encourage independence and social inclusion, and help SEND pupils access the curriculum in a supportive, family-oriented school community.

Competenze

• Experience working with children, including SEND needs and 1:1 support.
• Strong communication and collaboration with teachers and SENCOs.

Mansioni

• Work with class teachers to raise learning and attainment.
• Promote independence, self-esteem and social inclusion.
• Provide 1:1 or small group support to access the curriculum.
• Support SEND targets set by the class teacher or SENCO, including group work.
• Support Forest school sessions.
