Job summary

Shaw C of E Primary School in Melksham, Wiltshire invites applications for a Teaching Assistant and Mid-day Supervisor. The post covers Teaching Assistant duties (26.25 hours/week) and Mid-day Supervisor duties (5 hours/week) during term time (39 weeks) with a start ASAP.

You will support pupils, including those with SEN/SEMH needs, work as part of a friendly team, and access CPD opportunities through The White Horse Federation.

Responsibilities

  • Support teaching staff in the classroom.
  • Supervise pupils during lunch and playtimes.
  • Assist with daily school routines and classroom preparation.

Vacancy Details
Role: Teaching Assistant and Mid-day Supervisor
Hours: Teaching Assistant - 26.25 hours per week / MDSA 5 hours per week
Salary: Teaching Assistant- £15,875 - £16,643 / MDSA £2,900

Contract: Permanent, term time only, working 39 weeks.

Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 3.15pm
