Hours: 32.5 hours per week, (TA 30.5 hours + 2 hours HLTA) 38 weeks per year

Barnsole Primary School is looking to appoint a warm, enthusiastic and experienced Teaching Assistant with the ability to deliver HLTA-level support for two hours a week. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team where every adult plays a vital role in shaping confident, resilient and inspired learners.
What You’ll Do
Support pupils with their learning across a range of ages and needs
Deliver small group interventions and in-class support
Work closely with teachers and support staff to provide a positive and engaging classroom experience
Lead a class during HLTA time (2 hours/week) with confidence and creativity
Help foster an inclusive, nurturing learning environment where every child feels seen and supported
NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in a relevant subject
Experience working with children across KS1 and/or KS2
A calm, adaptable and proactive approach
A team player who shares our values of kindness, curiosity and aspiration
Someone confident in leading learning and supporting pupil progress
