Job summary

Outwood Academy Adwick in Doncaster is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support teachers, deliver tailored learning activities and provide welfare support to individuals and small groups during 24.5 hours per week, term time plus 3 days.

The role includes intervention management for SEND and EAL pupils, helping to develop individualized student support plans, and promoting learning and welfare across the academy under the guidance of the class teacher.

Working Pattern: 24.5 Hours Per Week (Monday-Wednesday and Friday) Term Time only + 3 days

Join us as a Teaching Assistant, working directly with teachers to implement tailored learning activities and provide essential academic and welfare support to individuals and small groups. This varied role spans classroom support, intervention management (including for SEND and EAL students), and helping to develop individualized student support plans.

The role of Teaching Assistant across our Academy is to promote the learning and welfare of students by providing practical and learning support to students, including those with statements of special educational needs, under the direction of the class teacher.

24.5 hours Monday to Wednesday and Friday 8.30am - 3pm Term Time plus 3 days.
