TEACHING ASSISTANT 1 SEN - Start: 1 September 2025
Fixed term contract to 31 August 2026 with possibility to extend
Band 3 point 6-11 £14,938 - £16,175 (pro rata)
Term time, plus inset days (39 weeks)
Hours - 25 hours per week

The Governors are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant who is passionate about ensuring that SEND pupils make excellent progress both academically and socially and emotionally.


The successful candidate will provide additional support for a pupil in the following areas of SEND: Cognition and Learning, Communication and Interaction, Social, Emotional and Mental Health, as well as Physical and Sensory.


The successful candidate will:
Be a caring and motivated team player
Be flexible and willing to adapt whenever necessary in response to the needs of the pupil
Be fully committed to the ethos of the school
Have a Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential) or a willingness to gain a formal TA qualification
Have good numeracy and literacy skills
Be hardworking and collaborative.
