Job summary

Randstad UK is seeking Teaching Assistants to join secondary schools across Bromborough and the surrounding South Wirral corridor, supporting 11-16-year-olds, building quick rapport, and helping learning move forward.

Roles include 1:1 mentoring, small-group revision, and invigilator duties during mock exams. We offer competitive PAYE pay, flexible placements, free CPD courses, and a £300 referral bonus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience supporting 11-16-year-olds in school, care, or community settings.
• DBS on the Update Service (or ready to apply).

Responsibilities

• Keep KS3 and KS4 classrooms focused and productive alongside subject teachers.
• Run targeted, small-group revision and catch-up sessions in core subjects.
• Provide 1:1 support for students who benefit from a grounded, mentor-style approach.
• Assist during mock exam blocks as an invigilator, reader, or scribe.
