Role: Teaching Assistant
Hourly Rate: £13.68–£15.00
Location: York

We are working with a well-established, inclusive primary school in the York area that is dedicated to supporting the academic and emotional development of every child. The school fosters a positive and nurturing atmosphere where pupils are encouraged to achieve their full potential.

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support pupils across the school. This opportunity is ideal for someone who is passionate about education and is looking to make a meaningful difference in the classroom.

The successful candidate will bring a flexible, proactive approach and a genuine desire to support learning. While experience is beneficial, a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills are equally important.

Key responsibilities include:
• Supporting pupils' learning and wellbeing in class
• Assisting the teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management
• Providing one-to-one or small group support as needed
• Encouraging engagement, independence, and inclusion
• Building strong relationships with pupils and staff
